Congratulations to Muhammad Ikram, Rahat Masood, Gareth Tyson, Dali Kaafar, Noha Loizon, Roya Ensafi, authors of The Paper just accepted by the prestigious https://www2019.thewebconf.org/.

This Paper explores the chains of resource-dependencies of 200K websites and on the suspicious behaviour of third-party services and loaded resources (i.e.JavaScript programs). The paper finds that these suspicious third-parties have remarkable reach into the wider ecosystem. Are resources loaded from domains or services down in the resource dependency chain exposing websites and users to security issues?

Check out this new paper The Chain of Implicit Trust: An Analysis of the Web Third-party Resources Loading by the Information Security and Privacy group's researchers at Macquarie University and the Optus Macquarie University Cyber Security Hub.
