Professor Coiera is Director is of the Centre for Health Informatics, Australian Institute of Health Innovation, Macquarie University. He was elected Foundation Fellow and first President of the Australian College of Health Informatics, is a foundation member of the International Academy of Health Sciences Informatics, and an International Fellow of the American College of Medical Informatics. He leads the Australian Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Health Care and the NHMRC Centre of Research Excellence in Digital Health.
