AI and Healthcare: What are Australia’s national priorities?

AI and Healthcare: What are Australia’s national priorities?

Take the survey now. Closes 19 August 2021

The Australian Alliance for Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare (AAAiH) led by Professor Enrico Coiera, Director of the Centre for Health Informatics at Macquarie University, have identified eight key priorities for AI in Healthcare and have developed a national survey for wider consultation.

The eight priority areas are:

  1. Safety, quality and ethics
  2. Privacy and security
  3. Adoption
  4. Workforce
  5. Consumers
  6. Industry
  7. Governance and leadership
  8. Research and development

AAAiH are now your seeking feedback on these key priorities. By responding to the national survey, you’ll also be able to share your thoughts and suggest additional priorities you feel are important.

About the Survey and Roadmap

The survey results will influence the development of a national AI Healthcare Roadmap to guide the implementation of AI in healthcare in Australia. The Roadmap will identify critical gaps in Australia’s capability to translate AI into effective and safe clinical services, including implementation, regulation, and cybersecurity and will provide guidance on how to close the gaps. Find out more.

Complete the survey by 19 August 2021

Who can respond

AAAiH invites all individuals and organisations that consider they have an interest in the implementation of AI in healthcare in Australia to participate.
