Macquarie University knows that as an International Baccalaureate (IB) student, you are distinctive.
You have a 'switched on' approach to learning and you're actively engaged with the world around you. We're on the same wavelength here at Macquarie.
If you're looking to build on your success and take your intellectual curiosity to the next level, we're here to open your door to an exhilarating learning experience.
More than just a degree
At Macquarie you will be nurtured as a global leader of tomorrow through unique programs like PACE (Professional and Community Engagement), and the Global Leadership Program. You'll also have a passport to explore the world through our extensive student exchange opportunities.

IB students in Australia who excel in subjects relating to Macquarie's programs can receive Academic Advantage points to increase their selection rank. Read more about which NSW HSC subjects your IB subjects are comparable to on the UAC website.
Use our Adjustment factor calculator to see how many additional points you could receive. The UAC website provides a guide to converting your IB results to the relevant NSW HSC band (see FAQ: How do results in my IB subjects compare to results in NSW HSC subjects?). This will help you calculate your potential additional points.
