In his fascinating seminar, Dr Haoran Ren, Macquarie University Research Fellow, showed us how different metasurfaces may be classified and designed to support different functions and applications. He used 3D laser-printed metasurfaces in a new approach to orbital angular momentum holography, offering creativity in metasurface design, combined with superb fabrication skills. A great start for our 2021 seminar series!
