Dr Zixin Huang, Macquarie's new Sydney Quantum Academy Fellow, gave us a great presentation of her recent work on Subwavelength quantum imaging for astronomy and LIDAR detection. She uses quantum measurement techniques to overcome the Rayleigh criterion in determining the spacing of incoherent light sources - even if they are stars and exoplanets!
