Dr Philipp Reineck (RMIT) spoke about fabrication, characterisation and applications of fluorescent nanodiamonds to MQ Photonics. He thoughtfully structured his seminar to emphasise the underlying physics of the nanodiamonds for imaging and sensing magnetic fields, temperature or molecules for biology applications.
