Dr Shaghik Atakaramians gave us a nice talk on her group's work on THz waveguides at UNSW. They design, fabricate and characterise both hybrid photonic crystal THz waveguides and topological waveguides, with promising results. She elegantly bridged the gaps in our understanding of Photonic crystals and THz waves!
