About the seminar

The healthcare sector is in dire need of a transformation that would lead to more sustainable consumer-based solutions. With the goal of spearheading this transformation, Sheba Medical Center has launched ARC, a global ecosystem that aims to develop, pilot and roll-out game changing solutions.

ARC (Accelerate, Redesign, and Collaborate) prioritises innovations in digital health as the main change vehicle for the transformation, allows an open innovation environment that joins leading Academic Medical Centers with innovative startups and strategic industry partners and promotes accelerated development and implementation through sharing of data and streamlining collaborations.

The ARC ecosystem now includes leading Academic Medical Centers such as Mount Sinai in NYC, Mayo Clinic, Partners Healthcare in Boston, Thomas Jefferson, Henry Ford, Cedars Sinai, as well as McGill, The University Hospital of Montreal and The Ottawa Hospital in Canada. Strategic industry partners include Microsoft, Boston Scientific, Janssen, Merck and Astrazeneca and already about twenty leading startups selected for their capacity to bring about the needed transformation in areas such as artificial intelligence, precision medicine, tele-health and virtualisation of medicine. To fund new developments, Sheba has partnered with Tri-ventures, a US-Israeli venture capital, to launch a seed fund – TV-ARC, which is already making its first investments.

The need for digital transformation of healthcare services is no longer a theoretical question, but a burning necessity. With ARC we aim to lead the needed redesign.
