National Health and Medical Research Council (NHMRC) Research Committee appointment

The Federal Minister for Health, The Hon Greg Hunt MP, has announced the appointment of Professor Jeffrey Braithwaite to the NHMRC Research Committee for further three-year term to 2021.
The Research Committee deals with a wide range of issues for health and medical research, including public health. It supports the work of the NHMRC and addresses the awarding of grants, research support, training programs, and fellowships.
Professor Braithwaite, who has served on the committee since 2015, is honoured by the appointment.
