New Member: A/Prof. Tom Murray

CACHE is delighted to welcome Associate Professor Tom Murray to our CACHE Membership.

A/Prof. Murray is an ARC Future Fellow and Associate Professor in the Department of Media, Communications, Creative Arts, Language and Literature at Macquarie University. Tom is a distinguished academic and media producer. He is recognised as one of Australia’s most distinguished screen production researchers, with experience as a writer, director, and producer. Tom has won major screen industry awards, public recognition for scholarly work, university research awards and grants, and, in the Max Crawford Medal, the highest accolade for Humanities Research available to early career scholars in Australia.

Tom’s work is highly interdisciplinary with interests in the history of colonialism, Indigenous culture, screen and audio production, documentary media, environmental history, ethics and reciprocity, embodied and affective knowledge, creative scholarship, and inter-cultural storytelling.

CACHE looks forward to following along Tom’s career and welcomes him to the CACHE community.
