Getting to Macquarie City Campus

Level 24,123 Pitt Street Sydney


Macquarie University City Campus is located in the heart of Sydney’s financial district and a short walk from Martin Place. Located at Level 24, 123 Pitt Street Sydney.

Parking

Wilson’s Angel Place Car Park is located in the basement of 123 Pitt Street. The car park offers early bird rates along with extended hours due to the close proximity to City Recital Hall. For more information or to book, please visit www.wilsonparking.com.au.

Train

Both Wynyard and Martin Place Train stations are under 10 minutes’ walk from Campus.

Bus

State transit operates services across the Sydney Metropolitan area seven days a week with a large number of routes dropping off at Martin Place. For more information about routes and timetables, please visit: http://www.sydneybuses.info.

Taxi

Taxi’s may pick up and drop off directly outside of the building at 123 Pitt Street.

Accommodation

There are multiple hotel options within 5-10 minutes walking distance from City Campus.

Arriving from overseas - Sydney Airport

Sydney Domestic and International airports are about 15 km from Macquarie City Campus. Transport options from the airport include taxi, airport shuttle and train.

Taxi

Taxi is a convenient way to travel from the airport, and there are taxi ranks outside the international and domestic terminals. Fares to the City Campus may be $35-$50 AUD (depending on traffic).

Shuttle Bus

Shuttle buses also operate from Airport to Macquarie University. These must be booked in advance by contacting Redy2Go Shuttle Services.

Public transport information about Sydney

There are train stations at the international and domestic airport terminals. A train service runs from the Airport to Central Station and takes about 10 minutes. From here you can transfer to “Epping-Chatswood-Hornsby or City Circle Line” which will take you to Wynyard Station.
