This week we are fortunate to have Dr Alireza Ahadi join us for a two-year full-time postdoctoral placement.
The placement is funded by a Science and Industry Endowment Fund grant and educational technology company Cinglevue to investigate learning design and learning analytics in the new Virtuoso Learning Management System. This cross-Faculty project is being led by A/Prof Matt Bower in the Department of Educational Studies and Dr Abhay Singh in the Department of Applied Finance through the CSIRO’s SME Connect program, which connects small to medium sized businesses with the Australian research sector. Alireza (Al) brings to the project a strong background in learning analytics, computer programming and computer science education, as well as a deeply inquiring mind. We welcome Ali to the Department.
