The NSW Department of Education Mid-Career Transition to Teaching Program supports experienced STEM professionals to become teachers.
The MQ School of Education has been announced as a partner university in the NSW Department of Education's recently launched Mid-Career Transition to Teaching Program. This is an exciting opportunity for mid-career changers with relevant qualifications/experience in the areas of Mathematics or Physics or Chemistry to transition into the teaching profession seamlessly from their existing career.
The MQ School of Education's Accelerate MTeach will employ an individualised student-first approach and deliver a high-quality postgraduate stream. The program will minimise barriers to entry and offer a full suite of wrap-around coaching and mentoring support from the point of enrolment to transition into the profession.
Financial and career support will be provided to successful candidates.
