LEAP ROADS

The LEAP ROADS program seeks to bring a ‘taste of university’ to regional and remote areas of NSW by connecting Macquarie University academic staff and students with regional students, their families and communities.

During the day, university taster events are delivered in schools to Stage 3 and Stage 5 students, whilst professional development and community engagement events are facilitated after hours for teachers, parents and carers.

The LEAP ROADS program enables students to explore the variety of study opportunities available to them and encourages students to consider their individual learning journey and future educational goals.

LEAP inROADS

This intensive on-campus program provides Stage 6 students with the opportunity to experience university life firsthand, increasing their understanding of the realities of moving away from home to pursue tertiary studies.

Students engage with academics, researchers and current university students to learn about the diversity of post-school study options and career pathways.

The inROADS program is designed to empower students who are traditionally underrepresented within higher education with information, resources, awareness and confidence in accessing university.
