Hearing Australia Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Master of Clinical Audiology Scholarship
Hearing health disorders are over-represented in Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander populations. While there are many Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander Workers who specialise in hearing health, there are currently very few Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander audiologists. Australian Hearing is keen to lead change in this area.
Australia Hearing has teamed up with Macquarie University to offer a full-time two-year scholarship to one Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander student enrolled in the Master of Clinical Audiology at Macquarie University each year for the 2023 and 2024 intake, subject to funding.
