About the scholarship

With the generous support from benefactors, the Economics Grant is intended to provide a head-start to support university study for high achieving and motivated students when they enrol in the Bachelor of Economics at Macquarie University (as a single or double degree). 10 grants are available for outstanding applicants.

Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen; the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; or any temporary entry visa holder (student visa)
  • Have received an early offer for the Bachelor of Economics (single or double degree) through the Macquarie Leaders and Achievers entry scheme
  • Demonstrated record of high academic achievement
