The Centre for Research in Numeracy Development and Learning brings together a multi-disciplinary research group to address issues related to numeracy acquisition in children. The Centre supports collaborative efforts to establish an internationally recognized body of research.

The Centre directly links the theories and practice from educational studies, cognitive science, linguistics, hearing sciences, neuroscience and psychology in the home and the classroom with a direct translation into teacher education and clinical practice.

Our research focuses on three core themes:

  1. Assessment and intervention
  2. Special populations
