Event Name Webinar 5 - Digital platforms and alternative pathways for early engagement
Start Date Nov 17, 2020 12:00 pm
Description

Early engagement in hearing health, using digital platforms and community pharmacy to engage adults who are not yet ready to seek hearing help through formal avenues of care.

Digital health is becoming increasingly central to the delivery of health services globally, and offers a stepped care approach with decision aids that enable consumers to consider which level of care they currently want / need. Additionally, community pharmacy – highly visible and available services - support the care that GPs provide in the delivery of health. Such models could be extended to increase opportunities for adults with hearing problems to engage earlier in managing their own hearing health. This webinar explores these potential opportunities and discusses other fields which have been early adopters of these types of health delivery models.
