Time: 930am - 500pm
Venue: Level 1 Theatre, Australian Hearing Hub. 16 University Avenue, Macquarie University, Sydney

Overview
How does hearing loss affect children’s ability to develop native-like use of language? Do children with hearing loss struggle to understand certain aspects of word structure, sentence structure, sentence meanings and pragmatics? The Centre for Language Sciences promotes research that investigates which aspects of language are especially challenging for children and teens with hearing loss. Our workshop showcases current research projects underway and welcomes two international speakers with expertise in this area.
