Our projects

Our flagship project is the Symptomatology, neurocognitive and pathophysiological changes in chronic traumatic encephalopathy (SNAP-CTE) study, which assesses patients with a history of exposure to repeated head trauma every two years for cognitive, mood, and behavioural changes.

We are interested in understanding whether CTE is present within the community and which sporting or non-sporting head trauma presents a risk of significant, long-term effects.

Our group is interested in the potential of neuroimaging, blood testing and other biomarkers to be used routinely after concussion to improve diagnosis and aid treatment and management strategies.
