MAD Lab – Heimlich Scholarship

This scholarship is funded by Analog Devices via the Macquarie Analog Devices Laboratory (MAD Lab), in memory of Professor Mike Heimlich.

This scholarship supports PhD research into ideas relating to gallium arsenide (GaAs) and gallium nitride (GaN) monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) design and modelling, including radiation effects. The successful candidate will be eligible for a security clearance.

Availability

The scholarship is available to candidates eligible to undertake a direct entry three-year PhD program.

Components

The scholarship comprises:

  • a tuition fee offset
  • a living allowance stipend.

The value of the stipend scholarship is a full-time rate of $50,000 per annum (fixed rate for up to three years).
