The Macquarie MBA has strengthened its global reputation, being ranked #2 in Australia in this year’s The Economist Which MBA ranking.

The Economist lists global universities based on their MBA according to teaching excellence, student quality, career elevation and alumni connection. Overall, international ranking systems are just one lens on performance and have their own biases and complexities.

Our overarching goal is to get close to how our students experience and benefit from their time at Macquarie, so we ensure we are delivering the best possible educational experience and fostering excellence in our students.

This new ranking has Macquarie’s MBA climbing from #3 to #2 in Australia, #3 in the Asia Pacific region, and #41 in the world overall.

“We attract a diverse MBA student body but they are united in their ambition, motivation and professional achievements," says Professor Eric Knight, Executive Dean at the Macquarie Business School.

As a School, we are proud of all our MBA students and the ambition, motivation and professional achievement they have to make our business and society a better place.

We remain focussed on strengthening our MBA program to ensure it remains job relevant and industry engaged, providing our students with the best teaching, networking and learning experience.

The Business School is deeply grateful to our students and alumni who completed this rankings survey.
