You’ll gain a thorough understanding of the finance industry through your study of four compulsory units.
You will also have the opportunity to explore areas of interest, and benefit from our strong industry partnerships, through a selection of four specialised elective units.
Speciality elective units cover a broad range of topics including:

- Advanced investment management
- Infrastructure, property and resources
- Behavioural economics
- Business valuation.

Flexible study options
Choose where to study – online, or at our Sydney CBD City campus. The curriculum delivers a hybrid model of online interactive learning together with face-to-face classes and workshops. This means you can set the pace at which you progress through the course, affording you the greatest level of flexibility.
When I was studying at Macquarie University, did I think I would end up the CEO of a major mining company? Probably not, but I believe that everybody should feel that anything’s possible. If you’re curious and open to opportunities, and willing to take risks, the sky’s the limit.
