Strengthen your cyber resilience

We engage with large enterprises, small and midsize businesses, start-ups, government agencies, regulatory and professional bodies to advance our collective cyber security.

The Macquarie University Cyber Security Hub offers board and executive education to raise awareness among leaders as well as targeted short courses to develop the skills within a workforce.

We enable conversations between organisations and focus the academic community towards research with practical impact by translating knowledge, insight and foresight into commercial advantages and social benefits.

Strategic partnerships

We're bringing together the brightest minds from academia, government, and industry to confront the major challenges of cyber security.

We're developing strategic alliances with corporate and government partners to drive outstanding and high-impact research, realise new discoveries, transfer innovative results into deployable technologies and business solutions, and create joint appointments, research fellowships, and PhD studentships.

The Hub has been made possible by generous contributions from both Optus and Macquarie University. In 2016, Optus agreed to provide funding for the establishment of the Hub and continues to be the Hub's most important business asset. Our collaboration is unique and on the vanguard of business and academic partnerships in Australia.

Affiliate partnerships

Our affiliate partners gain access to emerging cyber security research and insight, meet and hire Macquarie University students, gain intelligence from research scientists and engineers, and consult with University faculty.
