Find your focus
Our degree structure allows you to follow your passions and to think outside the box.
A key way we deliver this opportunity is by offering a range of majors or specialisations within your degree’s core zone. Majors and specialisations are specific sequences of study that allow you to explore your interests in greater depth.
Majors
Choose from 80 majors in areas such as anthropology, criminology, entrepreneurship, human movement, international relations, marketing, public relations and social media, social justice and software technology. Degrees such as our Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Commerce, Bachelor of Human Sciences and Bachelor of Environment offer majors.
Specialisations
At undergraduate level, specialisations offer an even greater focus of study than a major. Choose from five language specialisations in our Bachelor of International Studies. Choose from 18 specialisations at postgraduate level in areas such as education, accounting, finance, marketing and engineering.
How do they work
Majors and specialisations consist of a specified set of units and a total of 80 credit points. Your major or specialisation is recorded on your testamur and academic transcript.
