Congratulations to Joint Winners of the 2019 Judith Sachs Award for PACE Activities at Macquarie University Long Activity - Sarah Himmelhoch, Kirsten Quach, Michaela Burchell, Mark Elias, Imran Dewan, Katrina Woodforde and Mathew Duardo who were the winners in the "Long Activity" category for their work with PACOS Trust.
PACOS Trust is a community-based organization dedicated to supporting indigenous communities in Sabah, Malaysia. PACE International has been working with PACOS Trust since 2009. Throughout this time, PACE students have contributed significantly to PACOS's programming, creating trust and collaboration through partnership.
The award winning project team were based in Borneo, where they worked with PACOS Trust and an Indigenous village to create the first level of documentation for their future native rights land claim.
Congratulations also to Sarah Himmelhoch, Mark Elias, Katrina Woodforde who were joint winners in the Leadership Award category for their work in the same project.
