Access Information for Workshop Attendees
This page provides information on the live-stream for the Beyond Speech Workshop: Towards Better Communication for Children with Hearing Loss (see here for more general information about the workshop). The link for the 'Zoom foyer' is only included in emails to registrants. Please contact us if you wish to register on the day or you have lost your Zoom link. Information on closed captioning and how to ask questions of speakers is provided below.

To ask questions of speakers
To ask questions of the speakers to answer live during their question time (after their talk) you can either:
- Use the YouTube Chat (you will need to open the live-stream in YouTube and you will need to be signed into your YouTube or Google account)
- Use the conference email (beyond.speech@mq.edu.au)
- Please indicate who the question is for and keep the questions short, succinct and phrased so that they could be read by the chair (only 200 characters is allowed in the YouTube Chat)
- Please only use YouTube Chat for questions. Please do not include comments or 'hellos'.
- Please be aware that it may not be possible to ask all of the questions during question time. You may have an opportunity to discuss questions further with speakers in the 'Zoom foyer' during the breaks. Please see the registrant email for the Zoom link for the 'Zoom foyer'.
