- Research and clinical experience in neuromuscular and clinical biomechanics.
- Joined Macquarie University as a Lecturer in 2013.
- Research interests include targeted biomechanical and neuromuscular treatments for lower limb overuse injuries and osteoarthritis, health care delivery for people with Osteoarthritis and subgrouping individuals with OA.
- Recipient of several national and international awards for this research, including Best Young Investigator at the 2009 Footwear Biomechanics Group branch of the International Society of Biomechanics.
- Published in multiple high impact journals relating to sport and clinical biomechanics (Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise, British Journal of Sports Medicine, Arthritis Care and Research and Clinical Biomechanics).
- Reviewer for several international journals.
- Professional member of Sports Medicine Australia, Osteoarthritis Research Society, International Society of Biomechanics and the Footwear Biomechanics Group.
- Formally trained in teaching to different learning styles through the International Teaching Skills Workshop and Course Design workshop.
