A Bachelor of Applied Finance paves the way for a career in the dynamic sector of Finance. Through its focus on financial institutions, capital markets and instruments, students gain an understanding of the flow of funds within the financial system, ways to control risk and methods of evaluating opportunities to optimise financial outcomes.
The degree is a also recognised as CFA Partnership program where areas of the curriculum overlap more than 70% with material in the CFA program. Candidates preparing for the CFA qualification will therefore benefit from undertaking this degree.
Other undergraduate options include the Bachelor of Commerce with a major in Finance, or the Bachelor of Applied Finance combined with a degree in actuarial studies, law, economics, accounting or business analytics.
We also offer master degrees by coursework designed for students who want to further their career in finance. The Master of Banking and Finance allows you to gain theoretical knowledge along with practical capabilities for a career in banking and finance sectors.
The Master of Commerce, with specialisation in finance delivers a flexible and career-oriented postgraduate education.
