Engage with us
Macquarie Law School (MLS) seeks to be a supportive and inclusive community constituted by its academic and general staff, students, alumni and affiliated members of the legal profession, working together as partners at all levels including learning and teaching, research/scholarship, and community and professional outreach and engagement. It’s founded upon a robust culture of innovation, intellectual excitement and inspiration, empowerment, active engagement, open communication, respect and collegiality and we aim to maintain this environment in all aspects of our work.
Staff at Macquarie Law School actively engage with the community - locally, nationally and internationally. Our staff have provided pro bono advice on legal matters, undertaken consultancies with government agencies, UN offices, private firms and international organisations, undertaken outreach activities with local high schools and community groups, among other things.
Macquarie Law School staff engage with the media in commenting on national and world events. Many staff members have been office bearers in professional associations. Our academics always ensure that their research connects with the world around them and can enrich the experience of the students they teach.
