What you need to apply
Your application will require copies of the following documents:
- proof of identity, citizenship and/or permanent residency status (including proof of name change where applicable)
- evidence of previous academic qualifications and transcripts (including translations if your qualifications are not in English)
- evidence of English proficiency (where applicable)
- current resume and workplace reference letter
In addition to the documentation outlined above, you are also required to:
- Refer to the Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) application guide. More general information can be found on the domestic postgraduate applications page.
- Submit evidence of existing academic qualifications that have been assessed the Australia Psychological Society (APS) or Australian Psychology Accreditation Council (APAC).
- Complete the Research Topic Areas Form to rank your preferred thesis topics. A link to the form can be found in the application and should be completed before submitting your application.
Meeting the minimum requirements for admission does not guarantee an offer. Places in the degree are first allocated to Macquarie University Bachelor of Psychology (Honours) students who meet progression requirements. Any remaining places are offered on the basis of competitive academic merit
Please Note: Applications that do not contain all of the above requirements by the deadline of October 31st will not be considered. The only exception is final academic transcripts that are released after the application closing date.
