Introducing MGSM’s new Director of Alumni and Corporate Relations

, / September 30, 2015

The Macquarie Graduate School of Management is pleased to welcome Jane Ferguson as its new Director of Alumni and Corporate Relations.

Born in England, Jane’s background includes corporate public relations and event management, as well as farming and horse breeding – both in Australia and England.

Most recently Corporate Partnerships Manager for the recently merged St Vincents Curran Foundation, Jane has played an instrumental role in approaching corporate Australia to develop tailor-made sponsorship opportunities to support and drive specific clinical, research and teaching endeavours on the St Vincent’s campus.

“Building communities and connections that make a social difference drives me and I am very much looking forward to ensuring MGSM is not only Australia’s leading business School – but also our most connected,” Jane says.

“As a business school, our alumni are critical to our ongoing success and we are very pleased to have someone of Jane’s experience and calibre come on board to lead us in doing this better,” said Professor Alex Frino, Dean of MGSM.

“Nurturing a strong relationship with our alumni is a cornerstone of our approach at MGSM and is a key focus for us going forward,”

“Ensuring our alumni are engaged and connected with each other, know where the School is headed and understand our vision is a key driver of student enrolment and an important factor in our ability to climb from an unranked business school to number 68 in the world, and number one in Australia,”
