New to Macquarie? Set-up your Student ID and password

If you don't have a password and it is your first time logging in, complete the following steps:

  1. Go to the first time log in page.
  2. Enter your Student ID (eight-digit student identification number on your student card or in your offer letter) in the 'OneID number' box.
  3. Follow the instructions to complete the process.

When planning your course, refer to the Handbook to make sure you are meeting your course requirements. It is important you follow and complete the requirements from the year you commenced your course.

All you need to know about your fees

  2. Tuition Fees are reviewed each year – Macquarie University reviews per credit point fee each year and reserves the right to increase tuition fees in future years.

FEE-HELP is a government scheme assisting eligible university students to access a loan to help cover all or part of their tuition fees. FEE-HELP does not cover the deferral of Student Services and Amenities Fees (SSAF).

If your University fees are being paid by a sponsor, full documentation must be supplied to Revenue Services.

How to pay sponsorship

It is highly recommended you attend Orientation Day before the term commencement. It is a chance to meet fellow students, academics and staff, receive important information about your program, meet representatives from student associations and plan your learning journey.

From 1 January 2023, all higher education students (including those who commenced prior to 2021 and international students studying onshore) must provide a USI to graduate and receive their award.

It is Macquarie University policy that an MQ email account be used for all official University communication. You will receive important information from Macquarie Business School Student Services, notification about your class materials, and may be contacted by your lecturers and classmates via the MQ email. You must regularly check this account to ensure that you do not miss any vital communication.

The Macquarie University campus card is your key to a range of resources, facilities and services on campus and is valid for the period of your enrolment.

  1. North Ryde Campus – Current students at Macquarie University pay student rates to park on campus using our digital parking management system.

The Unit guides and iLearn are your resources for information specific to each of your enrolled classes. Check these regularly so you do not miss information relevant to your studies.
