Terms and conditions

To be eligible to win the competition, you must agree to the following terms and conditions:

  1. Instructions on how to enter and other details contained within promotions for this competition form part of the conditions of entry. By entering the competition, entrants agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The terms and conditions of this competition are governed by the laws of the State of New South Wales.
  2. The competition is being run by Macquarie University (Web Transformation Project), Research Park Drive, Macquarie University, NSW 2109 (“Macquarie”). The Macquarie University Staff and student website competition (“the competition”) commences at 9am AEST, Thursday 8 June 2016.
  3. To enter the competition, you must complete the Website Research Survey and be aged 15 years or over. By entering this contest you agree that you are 15 years or over.
  4. Entrants may submit a maximum of one entry. Macquarie reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant who submits more than one entry. The closing date for entering the competition is 5pm AEST, Friday 1 July 2016.
  5. The five most useful or interesting feedback responses, chosen by a panel, will receive a Visa gift card to the value of AU$50 and will be liable to the terms and conditions set. If this prize is not available at the time of purchase, the closest configuration of similar value will be provided at the discretion of Macquarie University. Prizes are not redeemable for cash or an alternative prize. Prizes are not transferable. Names of the winners in the competition may be published through Macquarie University publications.
  6. Each of the prize winners will be notified by email by 5pm AEST, Friday 15 July 2016. Prize winners are required to abide by the terms and conditions as presented.
  7. Macquarie accepts no responsibility and shall not be held legally liable or responsible for any accident, loss, injury or damage to any individual or property whether direct or indirect, whether in contract, tort, negligence or otherwise arising out of or in connection with the competition or the prize, either during or after the competition.
  8. Where personal details of entrants are provided as part of the competition, Macquarie will comply with its privacy policy. Any and all personal information, including email addresses, collected at this website will be kept strictly confidential and will not be sold, reused, rented, loaned or otherwise disclosed to any third party for any purpose whatsoever.
