Research participants wanted

The Centre for Emotional Health and the Child Language Lab are offering staff and their families the opportunity to participate in current research.

English learning in Mandarin-speaking three-year-olds

The Child Language Lab is currently studying how young children learn a second language, and is seeking three-year-olds who speak only Mandarin at home, have been in childcare for around 18 months and have no developmental delays.

Parents will remain with their child throughout the 60 to 90 minute study, which incorporates play talking and looking games.

Participants will receive a $40 Coles/Myer gift card, stickers, a t-shirt and a fun balloon animal.
