Raise your concern locally and directly

Resolve your concerns directly with the person or area responsible for the matter if you feel safe and comfortable doing so.

Informal resolution can lead to the quick resolution of your concern if it arises from a misunderstanding or an error that can be easily fixed.

You can raise your concern by:

  • Speaking or writing to the person or service area directly, describing the outcome that you seek.
  • Requesting another staff member or Student Advocate to help you raise the matter with the person or service area concerned.

Lodge a formal complaint if you are unable to resolve the matter informally with the person or area concerned or you do not feel safe or comfortable doing so.
