Unrestricted units

Study Abroad and Exchange program participants can enrol in these units without restrictions.

Study Abroad and Exchange program participants are eligible to enrol in a wide array of units offered at Macquarie University. A selection of unrestricted units from the Course Handbook have been compiled below for ease of reference.

Open Access Units are generally introductory level, on campus, and count for academic credit. This list is intended to serve as a guide, providing Study Abroad and Exchange students with potential units for study planning and enrolment, but is neither exhaustive nor guaranteed. The schedule of offerings and curricular parameters of units at Macquarie are subject to change.

Students are responsible for their enrolment and must consider their individual enrolment criteria for their specific Study Abroad or Exchange program. These criteria include, but are not limited to, visa conditions of enrolment, home university requirements for credit transferability, and Macquarie’s enrolment regulations and unit availability.
