Tuesdy. 1. Octr. !
At Noon this day we took leave of our friends at Knock, and set out for Ardtorinish, [sic] where we arrived at 5. P.M.

Thursday 3. Ocr.
Set out for Ardtorinish [sic] at 2. P.M. and arrived at Auchnacroish at 4. P.M.; being recd. on the shore by my Broyr. & his three charming Boys. —

Thursday 10. Octr. 1822.
Left Auchnacroish at 3. P.M. in the Auchnacraig Ferry Boat wth. Mrs. M. & Family, and arrived at Airds at 5. P.M. disce. 14 miles. —

Friday 11. Ocr.
My Broyr. Chas. & his wife set out from Mull in the Highlander Steam Boat for Edinburgh. —

Tuesday 15. Ocr.
Left Airds in the Fingal Wherry at ½ past 2. P.M. and arrived at Oban at ½ past 9 at Night.

Wedy. 16. Ocr.
Left Oban at 10. & arrived at Gallanich [sic] at 11. a.m.

Thursdy. 17. Ocr.
I Paid a Visit at Lochnell.

Friday 18. Ocr.
At ¼ past 12, Noon, left Gallanach & embarked on bd. the Highlander Steam Boat for Edinburgh – Halting about ½ way thro' the Crinan Canal at 7. P.M. & Slept on board.

Saturday 19. Ocr.
Set out again at 5. am. & arrived at Greenock at 7. P.M. sleeping on board the Steam Boat. — Mrs. Campbell and her Daughter Jane left us at Tarbert at 10. a.m.

Sunday 20. Ocr.
At 6. a.m. Set out from Greenock and arrived at Glasgow at 11. OClock forenoon; taking up our Quarters at the George Hotel (Hutton's) in George's Square. —

Monday 21. Ocr.
Mrs. M. & self went in Post Chaise to consult Dr. Stewart at Erskine; calling also on Ld. Blantyre, and returning to Glasgow again to Dinner. Capt. Watts left us in the Evening to join his Regt. at Weedon England. —

Tuesday 22. Ocr.
At 11. a.m. Left Glasgow in the Charlotte Track Boat by the Clyde & Forth Canals arriving at Falkirk at 6. P.M. where we remained for the Night, and putting up at Thomson's Inn. —

Wedy. 23. Ocr.
At 5. a.m. Left Falkirk & set out in the Flora Mc.Iver Track Boat. — At 1. P.M. arrived at Edinbr. & took up our residence at Mc.Gregor's Private Hotel in St. Andrew's Square. — N.B. To pay 15/. per day for our Lodgings.

Saty. 26. Ocr.
Capt. Lundin joined our Family Party this Evening. —
