With new initiatives constantly being identified, some of the key activities delivering mutual value include: 

  • inviting our experts to present to Singtel Optus staff in Singapore and Australia on cybersecurity, cloud computing and data analytics 
  • establishing the Optus Macquarie University Cadetship program – an opportunity for our engineering students to work at Optus over the four years of their degree program 
  • becoming a founding member of the Macquarie Park Innovation District (MPID) 
  • establishing the Optus Macquarie University Cyber Security Hub to conduct research, offer training courses, foster thought leadership and drive recruitment.

  • developing training programs for hospital executives and nursing managers through Macquarie University Graduate School of Management (MGSM)
  • supporting women undertaking MBA (WiMBA) scholarships
  • hosting interns in the Johnson & Johnson Medical Managing Director’s office
  • becoming a founding member of the Macquarie Park Innovation District (MPID)
  • conducting research that will directly contribute to Johnson & Johnson’s core business.

  • hosting students for work placements – more than 40 successful placements to date

  • taking advantage of Macquarie University’s wide ranging suite of professional services
