Faculty Boards form a critical component of Macquarie University’s academic governance framework. Each Board consists of academic and professional staff as well as student representatives.
Faculty Boards have been established under the Faculty Rules. These rules were made by the Council of Macquarie University under section 29 of the Macquarie University Act 1989.
Faculty Boards operate under the Terms of Reference approved by the Vice-Chancellor.
