Call for nominations

The University is calling for four professional staff members to serve on the Macquarie University Consultative Committee (MUCC).

Nominations are open to all continuing and fixed-term professional staff. Professional staff representatives are appointed for a nominal term of two years. MUCC meetings are convened five times per year.

Purpose and Composition of the Committee
The MUCC provides a forum for the discussion of employment-related matters including: implementation of the enterprise agreement, policy matters, training and career development, workplace diversity and health and safety matters. The Committee is comprised of up to four representatives from University management, four academic and four professional staff representatives and up to four nominees from the NTEU and the CPSU respectively.

How to lodge a nomination
Nominations are now open and will close at 5pm on Friday 11 September.

  2. Email the form to Roberta Palfreeman (roberta.palfreeman@mq.edu.au) or via post to Roberta Palfreeman, Human Resources, Fourth Floor, C5C, Macquarie University, NSW, 2109.

Election
If more than four nominations are received, an electronic ballot will be conducted. Further information will be provided to staff should a ballot be necessary.
