As the tradition of research excellence with impact continues, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research), Professor Sakkie Pretorius is delighted to announce the 2015 Research Excellence Awards Highly Commended applicants. The application quality for the 2015 Research Excellence Awards is a testament to the fact that Macquarie’s research has local, national and international impact across a wide range of disciplines.
Applications for the 2015 Research Excellence Awards closed in June. Since then, the Judging Panels have been busy comparing the breadth and depth of quality research conducted at Macquarie.
This year is the first time the Research Excellence Award categories have been aligned with the Five Future-shaping Research Priorities. The University’s commitment to these research priorities is a commitment to making a difference by conducting research with impact.
We look forward to celebrating the research achievements of these individuals during the 2015 Research Excellence Awards evening in early November.
