Calling for nominations: UniSuper Consultative Committee

The University is calling for nominations for staff representatives on the UniSuper Consultative Committee.

UniSuper is the industry superannuation fund for universities across Australia and the Consultative Committee is comprised of employer and employee representatives from each university.

Each university contributes two employer representatives and two employee representatives (one professional staff member and one academic staff member).

The University is seeking nominations for the employee representative roles, on a four-year elected term.

The role of the Consultative Committee is to:

  • Advise and make recommendations to the Trustee on matters of difficulty in the implementation or application of the Trust Deed, on matters concerning the Deed, and on any other matters on which the Trustee requires advice
  • Consider and, if necessary, give its consent in relation to any matter requiring its consent under the Trust Deed.

Nominations close 5pm Tuesday 30 June 2015.

Eligibility
Employees must be a member of the UniSuper defined benefit fund or Accumulation 2.
