June academic promotions and information session

The due date for the second round of applications for academic promotion (Levels B, C and D) is Monday 1 June 2015.

How to submit your application
Academic promotion templates must be used when compiling your application. Please ensure your application adheres to Academic Promotion Policy and Procedure requirements, then:

  1. Email your completed application (including cover sheet and checklist, case for promotion, CV template and discipline report) to: academicpromotions@mq.edu.au
  1. Deliver a hard copy of your Sources of Evidence folder to: Building C5C, Level 4 reception (entry via stairs/lift at the western end of the building).
  1. Referees must send their referee reports directly to: academicpromotions@mq.edu.au. (If you are unsure if your referee reports have been received please contact Catherine L. R. McDonald on ext. 4287).

Interview dates will be published on the Human Resources website shortly after 1 June.

Information session: Academic Promotions – applying made easy – Research Impact Data
To assist with your application, Research Librarians are conducting an information session on research impact data and methods of collection before the next two rounds of promotions.

These sessions will show you how to effectively use and gather data from:

  • Scopus
  • Thomson Reuters ‘Web of Science’
  • Google Scholar

When: Wednesday 20 May and Wednesday 9 September
Time: 1 to 2pm
Where: Library, Level 4, Room M4.02
