The 2015 Outbound Staff Exchange Grant is now open

The Staff Exchange Program provides an opportunity for academic and professional staff to enhance their professional and personal development by undertaking a visit to a partner university for a period of two or four weeks.

Outbound opportunities are available at the following partner universities in 2015:

  • China
The China Academy of Social Sciences, Jilin University, Fudan University and Dalian University of Technology.
  • Germany
The University of Hamburg and Potsdam University.

If your application is successful, Macquarie will fund the cost of your airfare, while local costs will be supported by the partner institution during your stay.

Criteria
Applicants must have been employed by the University on a continuing basis for the full-time equivalent of at least 12 months at the time of application. Applications from fixed term or casual staff will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Head of Department or Head of Office endorsement is essential.

This funding is not intended to support research towards a PhD.

Staff from Macquarie International are not eligible to apply. Staff who received a grant under the Staff Exchange Program in the preceding two years are not eligible to apply for a grant in 2015.

The Office of the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (International) will convene a selection committee to consider applications. Applications will be assessed on a competitive basis across all partner universities.
