More than 1200 people attended last year’s event and with even more attractions planned for 2014, the 3rd annual Campus Family Fair is set to be bigger and better than ever.
“Macquarie is a community, and staff and their families play a vital role in creating a happy and well-functioning working environment,” said Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Students and Registrar) Deidre Anderson. “The Fair is a wonderful opportunity to thank staff for their hard work, and for staff to bring their family and friends onto campus to show off their work environment and some of the fantastic facilities available to our employees and community.”
Attractions this year include:
- A giant water slide and pool inflatables
- Bubble football and free play gymnastics
- A Tea Cup ride, bouncing castles and slot car racing
- Live music and face painting
- Artisans stalls and the Growers Market
- Pony rides and a petting zoo
- Sausage sizzle, fairy floss and snow cones
- Massage therapists and an arts and crafts zone
