Macquarie has been awarded almost $3 million from the Australian Research Council under the Linkage Projects scheme, which supports collaborative projects between higher education researchers and other parts of the national innovation system.
Nine Macquarie-led projects – including Indigenous children’s numeracy, protecting Port Jackson sharks and investigating the impact of high frequency trading on financial market quality – were successful from 11 submitted, the best success rate (82%) in the Australian higher education sector.
