Macquarie University Refugee Scholarship
The Macquarie University Refugee Scholarship is valued at $5,456 per year (2019 value).
The scholarship is renewable for up to four years, subject to ongoing eligibility requirements. The scholarship cannot be deferred.

Apply at least 2 weeks prior to the date of the offer round to be considered for that round. The last date to apply is 21 February 2020.
Macquarie University recognises the particular financial and other support needs of students from a refugee background. These scholarships complement the University's Refugee Mentoring Program, which aims to raise aspirations towards tertiary study among refugee children.
Applicants will be able to demonstrate financial hardship and will be in receipt of a Commonwealth means tested income support payment.
These scholarships are available for any undergraduate course and students can apply at any stage of their course. Students who have a completed Bachelor degree or higher award at a tertiary institution will not be considered for Macquarie equity scholarships.
