Macquarie University Refugee Scholarship

Eligibility: Domestic students from a refugee background with demonstrated financial hardship. Applicants must be Australian Citizens or Permanent Resident humanitarian visa holders

Value: $5355 per year (indexed annually) for up to four years contingent on meeting ongoing eligibility criteria

Macquarie University recognises the particular financial and other support needs of students from a refugee background. These scholarships complement the University's Refugee Mentoring Program, which aims to raise aspirations towards tertiary study among refugee children.

These scholarships are available for any undergraduate course and students can apply at any stage of their course. The scholarship is renewable for up to four years contingent on meeting ongoing eligibility criteria.
