About the scholarship

The Actuarial Excellence Grant is a merit-based grant with a value of AUD 2,500 for eligible high-achieving undergraduate domestic and international students in the Bachelor of Actuarial Studies (as single or double degree) at Macquarie University. There is no separate application. Commencing students are to be assessed based on Selection Rank, ATAR between 97.00 and 97.95 or equivalent.

Duration

One-off award paid in the first study period.

Criteria

To be eligible for the scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen; the holder of an Australian permanent resident visa or permanent humanitarian visa; or any temporary entry visa holder (student visa).
  • Be commencing full-time in the Bachelor of Actuarial Studies including double degree programs at Macquarie University in Session 1 2026.
  • Must remain enrolled in their original course of study at Macquarie University.
